Made of olive wood and easy-to-clean, rust-resistant stainless steel. Each piece of olive wood by is different from the other. An olive tree grows very slowly. After 60 to 70 years of age, the tree is mature enough for some of its branches to be cut. After that the wood needs between 3 and 7 years to be dried before it can be used to produce truly one off products.
Looking after your artisan olive wood bottle opener: Not suitable for the dishwasher. We recommend not immersing the wooden handle in water, for prolonged periods of time. Keep your olive wood handle shining and looking as good as new, and nourished, we recommend one or two drops of olive oil or mineral oil, rubbed gently into the wood.
