The Militerni Greco vines are located in Santa Paolina in Avellino, 400m above sea level where the soil is clay with a pyroclastic and marly- calcareous-arenaceous cover, and rich in mineral salts. The grapes are hand picked during the second and third weeks of October and soft pressed. Fermentation is at a controlled temperature 16ºC/18ºC.
Refinement takes place over several months with the wine on the lees in stainless steel barrels.
Appearance: Straw-coloured, tending towards gold. It shows scents of white peach and notes of flowers and field grass. In the mouth it is balanced and persistent, with fragrances of green apple, jasmine and citrus, with a mineral aroma in the background.
Grapes: 100 Greco Di Tufo
Food pairings: Ideal with rich main courses, crustaceans, grilled fish, buffalo mozzarella cheese, chicken and cold dishes.
