Traditional Rum Babà
Babà is the most traditional Neapolitan dessert, the perfect treat for ending a family dinner or to celebrate special events such as birthdays or weddings.
Alberti’s Babà is infused with rum (Babà Al Rhum). You might expect these rum babàs to be excessively alcoholic but not so. They are soaked in a light, sugar rum syrup.
Directions for use:
– Store in a cool place away from light
– Invert jar before serving the baba to deliver the best liqueur
– Once opened, keep refrigerated
– For a tasty dessert serve with cream or ice cream
